My Story In A Nutshell

TL;DR: I was prescribed a benzodiazepine for anxiety and sleep, eventually became dependent, and had to learn about withdrawal after being told I could simply stop. I later tapered off with diazepam, but developed severe post-acute withdrawal symptoms after my taper, including symptoms associated with PAWS and BIND. After trying various approaches and spending years researching my options, I decided to pursue flumazenil, which helped enormously. I am not completely recovered, but I am working, sleeping and living again.
