TL;DR: After more than a year off benzodiazepines and dealing with protracted withdrawal, I spent a long time researching flumazenil and planning how I would approach it. I decided to try a low-dose transdermal preparation as a personal experiment and went very slowly, carefully planning each step and keeping track of how I felt. This post explains the reasoning behind my approach, what I planned for, and what I actually did. This is my personal experience, not a recommendation or medical protocol.

The deeper I went, actually, the more encouraging things became, and it’s what motivated me to consider flumazenil as a self-experiment for my debilitating PAWS (post-acute withdrawal syndrome from benzodiazepines). My Flumazenil Journey

TL;DR: After more than a year in protracted benzodiazepine withdrawal, I started researching flumazenil as a possible treatment for PAWS and BIND. I spent months learning everything I could, exploring different options, and eventually found a way to try it. Over the following weeks, I slowly started feeling more like myself again. This is the story of how I found flumazenil, what I learned along the way, and what happened when I finally tried it.
