The End of the Taper, and Then it Got Worse

TL;DR: I finished my benzodiazepine taper expecting the worst to be behind me, but after the initial withdrawal period I began experiencing new and unfamiliar symptoms that were worse than before. I eventually learned that these symptoms can occur as part of PAWS, PWS and BIND, and that benzodiazepine withdrawal can continue long after the last dose. The following months were a cycle of trying to function, taking time off, researching, and looking for something that might help. After months without the improvement I had hoped for, I turned to supplements and began looking more seriously at another treatment option that I had previously dismissed.
