When someone mentions flumazenil on a forum, the first thing to pop up is often “OMG, I’ve heard horror stories.” However, very few positive flumazenil stories seem to make it to the surface. I have done a lot of deep research (really, more than anyone could consider a reasonable amount), and I don’t want it to go to waste, so let me chime in. My Flumazenil Journey
TL;DR: After more than a year in protracted benzodiazepine withdrawal, I started researching flumazenil as a possible treatment for PAWS and BIND. I spent months learning everything I could, exploring different options, and eventually found a way to try it. Over the following weeks, I slowly started feeling more like myself again. This is the story of how I found flumazenil, what I learned along the way, and what happened when I finally tried it.
