My PAWS Journal

About Me, Brian

TLDR: If you only want the juicy parts, I’d say read My Story In a Nutshell and My Flumazenil Journey

This website is about my personal experience with benzodiazepine post-acute withdrawal syndrome (PAWS) / Benzodiazepine-InducedNeurological Dysfunction (BIND).

I want to share my experience and experimentations, and hopefully shed some light of an experience that is shared by many. I live in a community and have a job that are not forgiving toward any kind of drug dependence, no matter how much it’s not your fault, no matter the fact that it was doctor prescribed, no matter the fact that there never was any abuse.

I truly hope that my story can help those who come across it. I hope to keep building this website, adding resources, science papers, and more, mostly regarding flumazenil for benzodiazepine post accute syndrome, but also on sleep.

I can say without a single doubt that this molecule, flumazenil, saved my life (or at least spared me from years of suffering). I know we often hear of people having success with flumazenil, never to be heard from again, but I want to be the exception. I want to give back to the community that kept me going.

I have decided to break down ideas in bite size posts instead of a long rambly post. Hope this helps.
